Ms. Tracy Dietrich has built a practice providing effective legal representation to individuals, families and businesses. She advocates for clients in the arenas of Business, Family, Estate and Criminal Law. Ms. Dietrich takes a personalized, hands-on approach and draws on deep legal expertise, compassion and integrity.

Ms. Dietrich has extensive experience working in both the private and public sectors. She has provided corporate counsel to businesses including De Soto Clothing, Inc. and Breakaway Training. She worked on complex civil litigation involving antitrust law, conspiracy and the Sherman Act for Ross, Dixon & Bell, LLP. Ms. Dietrich has three years of proven experience as a trial litigator and family advocate as a Deputy Public Defender in juvenile court. She has counseled both adult and juvenile clients on various stages of the dependency system from arraignment to termination of jurisdiction and issuance of custody orders. In addition Ms. Dietrich serves as an Adjunct Professor for California Western School of Law.

Ms. Dietrich also possesses corporate business experience, having managed software projects and developed e-commerce solutions as a software engineer prior to entering law school.

Ms. Dietrich has earned the respect of clients, judges, professors and opposing litigators. She is a practical problem solver with a razor-sharp focus on the best interests of her clients.

Educational Achievement
Ms. Dietrich earned her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego in December 2005. She graduated magna cum laude in the top 4% of her class. She was invited to serve as an Associate Editor and Associate Writer for the California Western Law Review/International Law Journal and published an article on international corporate responsibility. She has received numerous academic achievement awards and scholarships. Ms. Dietrich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with minors in Information Sciences and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay in May 2000.

Community Involvement
Ms. Dietrich gives back to the community via her participation in projects for Volunteer San Diego and the Sierra Club. She has worked on the Second Chance Adopt-a-Block program, volunteered at the Ramona Wildfire Victims Center, researched environmental issues for San Diego Coastkeeper, and taught yoga to middle school children with autism and asperger syndrome. She enjoys triathlon competition, surfing, music, photography and painting.
